Manitowoc Mayor Justin Nickels
Manitowoc Mayor Justin Nickels said earlier this week that the city has ordered new, transit system buses. And, with that he requested of the Public Infrastructure Committee to save one of the old busses for special use.
Nickels explained details of the trolley idea still need to be worked out. The mayor also indicated they’re discussing routes and more than likely will order a ‘smaller’ bus for on-demand purposes.
The cost of new buses for Maritime Metro Transit is divided among local, state and federal entities.
