Orion Lighting Secures $11 Million LED Retrofit Contract

Orion Energy Systems Inc of Manitowoc announced this morning that they have secured a letter of intent with an existing customer to retrofit a number of their locations with Orion’s state of the art LED lighting solutions. This job will net the company around $11 million, according to estimates by Orion representatives. The project will include the initial energy audits, a custom design, the production of the lights and wireless controllers, and full project management through the installation. Orion CEO Mike Altschaefl said, “This project represents a powerful endorsement of the values, expertise, product quality, and customer commitment of the entire Orion organization.” No word yet on a timeline for the project.
