The Marinette County Sheriff’s Office says a 55-year-old Town of Pembine man called dispatchers to report that he had shot his wife on Sunday. Deputies say the call was placed to the Marinette County Dispatch Center at 11 PM. dispatchers said the man told them that he had shot his wife earlier in the evening and that she was dead. Sheriff’s officials say deputies responded to the caller’s residence and found a 63-year-old woman dead of an apparent gunshot wound. The husband was arrested and taken to the Marinette County Jail. No names have been released.
