Bail is set at $1000 cash for a 25-year-old Two Rivers man in connection to a car versus house incident Tuesday night on Manitowoc’s northeast side. Raymond S. Wynne faces criminal charges of second-degree recklessly endangering safety and abuse of a hazardous substance. In addition-Wynne faces municipal (city) charges of first offense OWI—possession of THC and operating while suspended.
The incident occurred about 6pm in the 900 block of Lawton Terrace. The vehicle driven by Wynne struck the front of the residence causing significant damage. The defendant was said to be under the influence of drugs and was taken into custody at the scene. Authorities add that three passengers got out of the car and fled on foot and remain at large.
Conditions of bail are that Wynne have “no contact” with the owners of the residence and/or residence itself—not operate a vehicle—maintain absolute sobriety and not possess any aerosol cans. He remains in the County Jail with an initial appearance scheduled for Monday afternoon at 1:30. The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information is asked to call the Manitowoc Police Department at 686-6551.
