Shae Sortwell is officially the Representative for Wisconsin’s Second Assembly District after being sworn into office yesterday afternoon. This is the Two Rivers citizen’s first term in office, however he comes into the role with plenty of experience in the US Army Reserve Chemical Corps, as a legislative aide, and as an Alderman on the Green Bay City Council. In a news release, Rep Sortwell stated, “Having worked in the public sphere for most of my life, it is truly an honor to continue serving and representing my friends, family, and neighbors in the 2nd Assembly District. I am excited to get to work with my colleagues here in Madison to keep moving our state forward.”
