
Seven competitors will be vying for victory in the annual Miss Green Bay Area and Outstanding Teen Scholarship Competition on Saturday January 19th. The candidates must be between the ages of 13-25, and must be a fulltime resident, a full time student, or employed in either Brown, Calumet, Kewaunee, Manitowoc Oconto, Outagamie, or Shawano Counties.
Miss Green Bay Area Candidates:
Kylie Thompson of Beloit. Kylie attends St. Norbert College, and and will be performing the Musical Theater Vocal, “They Just Keep Movin’ the Line” from SMASH. She stands on the platform of #EndTheStigma-Putting an End to Eating Disorders

Shania Gorton of Green Bay. Shania is a student at UW Platteville, and will be performing a Latin Fusion Dance to the song “Don’t Stop Believin’”. Her platform is Be the Bridge: Creatively Overcoming the Nightmare of Human Trafficking.
Sarash Jensen of Random Lake. The St. Norbert College student will be singing a Classical Vocal rendition of “La Zingara”. She stands with Meaningful Connections Through Service.
Kaylee Vermeern of Appleton. Kaylee is attending UW Green Bay, and will be performing a Lyrical Dance to the song “Silence”. She is a part of the Wisconsin Women’s Health Foundation.
Miss Green Bay Area’s Outstanding Teen Candidates:
Eve Vanden Heuvel of Freedom, who will be performing a piano rendition of “Swingin the Blues” by Melody Bober. She stands with Thank You From the Heart-Thanking Our Veterans
Elizabeth Black of Little Chute. Black will sing “Taylor the Latte Boy”, and represents Girls on the Run.
Brooklyn Heyn of Appleton will be playing the violin. Her excerpt will be from “Czardas”, as written by Vittorio Monti. Heyn stands with Autism Awareness.
