The Manitowoc County Historical Society is seeking nominations for its annual History Maker Awards. These awards recognize individuals, organizations, and communities who have made outstanding contributions to the study, practice, and preservation of Manitowoc County, Wisconsin history. Six awards with varying criteria are presented annually by the Manitowoc County Historical Society for a wide range of projects including community history, family history, building restoration or reuse, and education.
Nomination forms can be found at the museum and on the Historical Society’s website at https://www.manitowoccountyhistory.org/awards/. Awards will be given out at the Society’s Annual Meeting on March 7 at City Limits in Manitowoc. Nominations are due by January 15.
