Work Is Backing Up For Milwaukee County Medical Examiner’s Office

The first week of the New Year is a busy one for the Milwaukee County Medical Examiner’s Office.  Autopsies on 17 people who died December 31st and January 1st were waiting when work started again Wednesday morning.  There were six probable overdose deaths, five motor vehicle fatalities, three homicides and three deaths thought to be from natural causes.  The youngest victim was two years old.
