Wisconsin Starts 2019 With Border Battle Home Game

The Wisconsin Badgers start the marathon Big Ten Conference season tonight (Thursday) at home against Minnesota.  Coach Greg Gard’s team will play 18 games in the next nine-and-a-half weeks.  Wisconsin is one of five teams nationally to be listed in the top-20 in both offensive and defensive efficiency.  No other Big Ten team can say that.  And, when the Badgers are hitting their three-pointers, they are pretty tough.  In their three losses, they’ve managed to connect on just 23 percent from outside the arc.
