Senate Majority Leader Devin LeMahieu
9th district Senator Devin LeMahieu is excited about his recent appointment to the Senate Finance Committee for the upcoming legislative session. The Republican legislator from-Oostburg spoke about his assignment from Majority Leader Scott Fitzgerald recently on WOMT 1240 AM’s morning show, Be My Guest.
LeMahieu will also ‘chair’ the Senate Utilities & Housing Committee and he was named to 2-new ‘panels’ including Sporting Heritage, Mining & Forestry and Public Benefits, Licensing-and State & Federal Relations. He also spoke about the new session in Madison with Governor-elect Tony Evers and a-Republican legislative majority.
About his new committee assignments…Senator LeMahieu said quote, “I’ll probably learn a lot about different areas of state government and it should be exciting.”
