Lakeshore CAP Looking for Help Conducting Point in Time Street Count

The Lakeshore Community Action Program is looking for volunteers to assist in conducting the semiannual Point-In-Time Street Count in Manitowoc County regarding our homeless population. The volunteers will be needed on the evening of January 23^rd, into the following morning and must be 18 or older. Volunteers will be searching for homeless persons in places that one might suspect homeless persons may be staying, conduct a brief survey and provide referrals for assistance.  Each team also needs one volunteer driver to take the team to various locations.  Shifts are from 11 pm to 1:00 am OR 4:00 am to 6:00 am.  There is a training session prior to the count.
