The volunteers will be needed on the evening of January 23rd, into the following morning and must be 18 or older. Volunteers will be searching for homeless persons in places that one might suspect homeless persons may be staying, conduct a brief survey and provide referrals for assistance. Each team also needs one volunteer driver to take the team to various locations. Shifts are from 11 pm to 1:00 am OR 4:00 am to 6:00 am. There is a training session prior to the count. To become a volunteer or if you know of areas where homeless persons may be staying please contact Kate Markwardt at 920-682-3737 or kathleenm@lakeshorecap.org.
