A 64-year-old man from De Pere died Tuesday while shoveling snow at141 Speedway. Manitowoc County Sheriff Deputy Inspector Jason Orth tells Seehafer News that deputies and EMS personnel were dispatched just before 5:30 pm. A preliminary investigation revealed that the victim collapsed while shoveling snow off an elevated area known as “The Tower.” The male was pronounced dead at the scene and it does not appear to be suspicious in nature. The Mishicot Fire Department also assisted at the scene. His name is not being released at this time and the Manitowoc County Coroner’s Office is assisting in the investigation.
