Major Shed Fire New Year’s Eve in Sheboygan County

A total of 18 fire departments in Eastern Wisconsin responded to a Shed Fire New Year’s Eve in the Sheboygan County Town of Rhine.  According to a news release from the Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Office, the blaze along State Highway 57 was reported by a 9-1-1 caller at approximately 9:45pm.  Authorities say the equipment shed contained tractors & vehicles.  No word on a damage estimate or cause of the fire and one firefighter may have been injured due to the icy conditions. North and southbound lanes of 57, at County J were closed during the night with the incident scene cleared as of 5-this morning.
