The American Red Cross is kicking off 2019 and National Blood Donor Month, by announcing a multitude of blood drives that will be taking place all over northeast Wisconsin. There is only one scheduled to take place in Manitowoc County, which will be on January 18th at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Mishicot. The drive will run from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Your blood donation can make a huge difference in the lifesaving efforts for many people, including the likes of Judy Jansen, who was diagnosed with end-stage autoimmune liver disease in 2016. Jansen, who received dozens of transfusions before and during her transplant surgery, put it bluntly “I wouldn’t be here if it wasn’t for blood donations.” Below is a full list of the times, dates, and locations of every blood rive in North East Wisconsin this month.
