Manitowoc County Executive Bob Ziegelbauer says one of the projects the county will be working on in 2019 involves the Expo grounds preparing for parking at the new Meijer Store.
Dewey Street will intersect the property so parking for the county fair and other expo events will be redone. Ziegelbauer also updates us on another new business going in. He says Panera Bread is coming along.
Meanwhile, the much anticipated Rapids Road Reconstruction and Bridge Replacement will start Wednesday, January 2nd with the road closed between Broadway Street & West Custer Street. A detour route of Highway 151 to I-43 to Waldo Boulevard will be in place for approximately 9 Months.
