No one was injured in a house fire in Two Rivers yesterday afternoon. Fire Captain Eric Isselmann reports the department was called about one thirty yesterday afternoon to a house at 2220 Jefferson Street for a report of an apartment filled with smoke. Firefighters found smoke coming from the two-story house when they arrived. All four adults living in the building were safely out. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation, but it began in the second floor living area. Firefighters needed just over half an hour to get the fire under control. No dollar estimate is available at this time, but there was smoke, fire, and water damage to the building.
