Madison Police:  12-Year-Old Girl Recovering After Hit-And-Run

Madison police say a 12-year-old hit-and-run victim is recovering from serious injuries in a hospital.  Officers responded to the scene shortly before 6:00 PM Thursday.  When they arrived, the driver of the vehicle which hit the girl had already left.  That driver showed up at a Madison police station later.  Charges of hit-and-run causing injury have been filed.  The driver’s name hasn’t been released.
