Record Low Unemployment For Manitowoc

Four Wisconsin cities, including Manitowoc, either tied or achieved their lowest unemployment rate for any month on record.  The latest figures from the Department of Workforce Development in Madison shows Manitowoc’s jobless figure at 2.7-percent in November, down one-tenth of a percent from October and three-tenths lower than a year ago.  Among the Counties…Manitowoc remained at 2.6-percent, compared to 2.9 in November of ’17. Wisconsin’s statewide seasonally-adjusted unemployment rate stayed at 3-percent for the 10^th straight month, which is a state record.
