SLC Student Nabbed for Drug Possession

A 26 year old male Silver Lake College Student was arrested on Friday for being in possession of Marijuana and Methamphetamine. Officers with the Manitowoc Police Department were at an apartment complex in the 1400 block of  North 7^th Street attempting to make contact with someone about a separate case when they noticed what appeared to be marijuana in the front seat of an empty running vehicle. Officers waited for someone to exit the building, and discovered who it belonged to. A search of the vehicle verified that the substance was marijuana and also uncovered methamphetamine, and drug paraphernalia. The MPD is recommending charges of Possession of Meth, Drug Paraphernalia, and THC with intent to deliver.
