Milwaukee County officials promise there will be no loss of service while a new contractor is recruited for five senior centers and 13 additional senior dining locations. UNISON’s contract was terminated when its now-suspended C-E-O was taken into custody for allegedly stealing public funds. The 18 sites serving more than 13-hundred meals to seniors every weekday. The Milwaukee County Aging Department says its goal is to continue to provide “uninterrupted, high-quality services.”
