Fond du Lac Man Dies Following Arrest

An unidentified man from Fond du Lac has died following an arrest over the weekend. The 37 year old was arrested at around 9:30 PM on Sunday for violating the conditions of his bond. The Fond du Lac Police issued a statement claiming that while the man was in the back seat of the squad car he “…began exhibiting signs of medical distress. An ambulance was immediately dispatched to the location and transported the subject to St. Agnes Hospital for treatment where he was later pronounced dead.” An autopsy is still forthcoming, as the death remains under investigation by the Sheboygan Police Department, as state law requires an outside agency perform the probe.
