Christmas Day House Fire Takes 1 Life

Officials in Waushara County say one person died in a Christmas Day house fire reported in the Town of Rose shortly after noon.  Firefighters say the home was fully engulfed when they arrived at the location.  The Wild Rose Fire Department discovered the body of a victim inside the structure while they were still fighting the fire.  Five fire departments from surrounding jurisdictions and the Waushara County E-M-S all responded to the scene.  The victim’s name and gender haven’t been released.
