Outgoing Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker says his administration is leaving the state in its best financial condition in a generation. The 2018 Comprehensive Annual Financial Report shows Wisconsin ended the last fiscal year with a surplus of more than 558-million dollars. That allows the state to enter the current fiscal year with the second-largest opening balance over the last 18 years. Walker says the surplus will help “drive the state forward.”
