A Sheboygan man is facing child abuse charges after an infant child was treated for injuries in a Sheboygan Hospital yesterday. Detectives from the Sheboygan Police Department were sent to the hospital after it was reported that a three month old child had been taken to the E.R. with bruises, a hematoma in one of her eyes, and a broken right femur. The child was transported to Children’s Hospital in Milwaukee while her father, 26 year old Russel Walton, was arrested. Walton will have his preliminary hearing on December 27th, and could be facing up to $50,000 in fines and 15 years behind bars.
