School leaders in Kenosha are apologizing after an assignment on sexual assault upset some parents. The assignment asked students in a health class at Bradford High School to point out ways that a fictional character could have avoided her assault. That had some parents complaining about ‘rape culture’ and demanding the school to focus instead on the fictional assailant. Kenosha Unified Schools said in a statement Thursday that they are reviewing the health curriculum covering relationships and dating violence, consent, and sexual assault ‘to avoid future incidents.’
