One person was transported to a local hospital on Wednesday following a traffic accident on Highway 23 near Kohler. According to the Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Department, a car slammed into the back end of a tow truck at around 5:00 PM. The truck had apparently pulled into a highway crossover, but still had his back end lingering in the lane of traffic. The car attempted to avoid the truck, but was unable to do so. The driver of the car was transported to a local hospital, while the truck driver received a ticket for unsafe backing.
