During their meeting Tuesday evening, the Manitowoc County Board discussed the fate of a couple parcels of land. First, they discussed the potential purchase of some land near the intersection of Hecker Road and Viebahn Street. The board determined that it was best to hold off on any purchase until a property evaluation can be performed. They also decided to sell a large piece of land between Two Rivers and Mishicot. The County had purchased the land with the intent to develop a landfill, a project that never came to fruition. According to County Board Supervisor John Brunner, the sale will add over $760,000 to the general fund.
