While most of us will be seeing our family this holiday season, that is not the case for many people who will be stuck in a hospital for whatever reason. This applies to many children as well, but members of the Green Bay Metro Fire Department decided to bring a little joy to those who will not be having making it home this Christmas. The firefighters went room to room at HSHS St Vincent Children’s Hospital giving children a gift, including things like a toy dump truck. The children and their families were ecstatic to receive a visit from the firefighters, who were each wearing their helmets, and were able to ignore the problems they were going through, and enjoy the holiday season.
