A 37-year-old Marshfield man tells investigators he didn’t think the gun he was handling was loaded. When a second man told him to fire a round into the couch, William Crowley did it, hitting the couch and the man who told him to fire the shot. Crowley is scheduled to make a court appearance Thursday. He could face charges of recklessly endangering safety, injury by negligent handling of a dangerous weapon and being a felon in possession of a firearm.
