Governor-Elect Tony Evers and his Lt. Governor Elect Mandela Barnes were in Green Bay yesterday to hold a listening session in regards to the 2019 State Budget. Nearly 100 people were in attendance at UW Green Bay, voicing their opinions to the incoming gubernatorial team. The attendees then broke into smaller groups for a more personalized discussion. One of the major highlights of the event is when Barnes got on the microphone and said “We’re going to listen…What a concept.” The duo will be making similar stops all over the state, including La Crosse, and Milwaukee.
