Shopko has decided to sell 42 of their pharmacy locations, including the ones in Manitowoc and Sheboygan, to Kroger. Prior to the sale, Shopko had 227 pharmacies across the country and 72 in Wisconsin. As a part of the deal, the optical centers will remain open, but 25 of the 42 pharmacies sold will be closed. The Manitowoc and Sheboygan locations are included in the closures, but Kroger pharmacy services are available at Pick ‘n Save, Copps, and Metro Market stores, as they are operated by Kroger. Three locations in both Appleton and Green Bay will also be closed in the sale.
