Green County Residents Fighting Plans For Wind Energy Farm

Residents of Green County say plans for a wind energy farm could hurt property taxes, agriculture and the environment.  They are fighting those plans for 24 wind turbines near Monroe.  Opponents cite a lack of transparency as the project has moved forward.  E-D-F Renewables is backing projects across North America.  The company hasn’t submitted an official application yet.  When it does, the county will have 90 days to make a decision.
