An Eau Claire woman will be on probation for two years after pleading no contest to child neglect charges. Thirty-nine-year-old Kristy White was originally charged with maintaining a drug house. Charges were filed last April after her 11-year-old child’s hair follicle tested positive for the presence of meth in her system. When police came to her house in February they say a man walked up and appeared to be trying to buy drugs. White could have received a four-year prison term.
