Young people from across Wisconsin will get their chance to audition for Kids From Wisconsin in February. The performing arts group is in their 50th season and have performed for approximately 10 million across Wisconsin and the Midwest, with some of Wisconsin’s most talented performers ages 15-20. The program provides a professional experience and opportunity for kids to grow in leadership and as performers.
Kids From Wisconsin will be in Eau Clair, Platteville and Milwaukee from February 15th to the 24th, for an intense audition process to find 22 singers/dancers and 14 musicians. Students who would like to take part in the Kids iconic program must be a resident or student in Wisconsin, between the ages of 15 and 20 and consider themselves a serious performer.
As a part of the Kids From Wisconsin troupe, students must be committed to a full summer of performing. In addition to an invaluable experience, each troupe member is given room, board, and travel as well as a weekly per diem.
As part of the tour for 2019, Kids From Wisconsin will be in Manitowoc at the Capitol Civic Centre on Thursday, July 11.
