Tis the season of giving, and the Salvation Army of Manitowoc County is in desperate need of your generosity. If you have been out and about, you may have noticed the individuals standing in the doorways of several businesses, ringing bells and asking for donations. They are a part of the Red Kettle campaign for the Salvation Army. Lieutenant Jenny Moffit of the Manitowoc County Branch was a guest on the WCUB Breakfast Club earlier this week, and said they are nowhere near their goal.
LT. Moffit also says that they are looking for people to volunteer as well.
A common question is, what does the money collected go toward?
Again to register to volunteer as a bell ringer, go to www.RegisterToRing.com. If you are not the type to carry cash, you can also donate at a Shoreline Credit Union location, and they will match your donation.
