A man shot three times by Milwaukee police last year is telling reporters the department tried to cover up what happened to him on a rooftop. Jerry Smith Junior says he was holding his hands in the air and wasn’t a threat when he was shot three times. Prosecutors cleared the officers. Smith is calling on the U-S Attorney’s Office to present the case to a federal grand jury. His attorney showed reporters cell phone video and internal affairs documents which he says supports Smith’s claims.
