The incident occurred at around 3:30 PM on Baird Street, near Nicolet Elementary School. The boy was crossing the street when he was struck by an oncoming car. He flew several feet, and after a few moments to collect himself, the boy stood up and ran away. He was transported to a local hospital with leg and facial injuries, but neither of them was serious.
