The second of three accused killers has entered a guilty plea to a charge of first-degree reckless homicide in a fatal shooting in a Fitchburg apartment complex parking lot in March. Joshua McInnis reached a plea agreement with the Dane County prosecutor’s office. He, Travon Jackson and Gary Mays robbed a couple of some marijuana. During the robbery, 20-year-old Julian Patterson was shot to death, but his girlfriend wasn’t injured. Jackson is serving a five-year prison term and Mays goes on trial next month.
