Researchers at the University of Wisconsin-Madison will work with the Wisconsin Cranberry Growers Association, U-S-D-A experts and others at a new research station near Black River Falls. The association bought a cranberry marsh last year. The researchers will study ways to improve the state’s crop there since two-thirds of the U-S cranberry production comes from Wisconsin. The first harvest at the Wisconsin Cranberry Research and Education Foundation is underway.
