The Sheboygan County Chamber of Commerce has announced the winner of their 2018 Athena Leadership Award. The Chamber awarded Judith Schmidt with the honor at a banquet last Thursday. Judith is the Founder and Program Director for Made New Again, and also the Co-Founder and Program Director for Kaleidoscope. The award is given annually to honor a woman leader who inspires women to achieve their full potential. The top five runners up were Nina Kohler, owner of Sweet Potato’s Boutique/ Alchemy by Nina Kohler, Lynn Justinger, Employment Services Manager for RCS Empowers, Inc, Emily Rendall-Araujo, Executive Director of Above & Beyond Children’s Museum, Roberta Filicky-Peneski, retired from Robert W. Baird & Co, and Detective Tamara Remington, The Sheboygan Police Department.
