It took a Missouri jury just two hours to find a Wisconsin man guilty of first-degree murder last week. Twenty-nine-year-old Nicholas Godejohn of Big Bend will be sentenced in February. He was convicted of stabbing 48-year-old Dee Dee Blanchard to death three-and-a-half years ago. The defense argued that Godejohn lacks the mental capabilities to have committed premeditated murder. They said Gypsy Blanchard, the victim’s daughter, manipulated him.
