Wisconsin men’s hockey coach Tony Granato hasn’t made it official yet, but freshman Daniel Lebedeff will be the initial starter against Minnesota Friday. The Border Battle will take center stage at the Kohl Center this weekend. Lebedeff shutout Boston College earlier this season and has a .922 save percentage so far. Wisconsin has a 4-4 record and the Gophers are 1-3-1, making this the first Border Battle where neither team comes in with a winning record. Lebedeff and junior Jack Berry have both started games for the Badgers.
