Former Roncalli High School varsity basketball coach and athletic director, Jim Kersten, has this Sunday, November 11th circled on his calendar: it’s the day that the Menasha native & Marquette University alumnus will be inducted into the Wisconsin Athletic Directors Hall-of-Fame at Wisconsin Dells. Kersten, who still resides in Manitowoc, tells Seehafer News he received correspondence that he was selected for the WADA honor a couple of months ago.

He also coached cross-country, track, tennis, golf and football over his tenure, leading the Jets to conference and regional titles and state tournament appearances. He is also a member of several Halls of Fame, including his alma mater Saint Mary Central, and Lakeshore All-Sports Hall of Fame
