Election officials in Stratford knew something was wrong when tabulating machines wouldn’t read the ballots. Voters who showed up early Tuesday at a polling place in the Marathon County community had been given incorrect ballots. Officials are blaming a printing mistake. The 54 voters affected were contacted and asked to fill out another ballot and vote again. The Wisconsin Elections Commission was notified about the problem.
