Sophomore running back Jonathan Taylor pounded Rutgers for 208 rushing yards and three touchdowns in Saturday’s 31-17 win at Camp Randall Stadium. The Badgers are bowl-eligible for a 17th straight season. Senior linebacker Ryan Connelly led a stout defensive effort with seven tackles and senior safety D’Cota Dixon blocked a Scarlet Knights’ punt. Starting quarterback Alex Hornibrook was knocked out of the action with a head injury in the first half. He was relieved by Jack Coan, who hit five-of-seven passes for 64 yards and a touchdown. Wisconsin goes on the road next weekend to play Penn State.
