A hit-and-run driver from Waunakee is pleading no contest to charges related to a fatal hit-and-run accident in Madison. University of Wisconsin student Alexandra Ihm suffered serious injuries when she was hit by a car last year. She died of a pulmonary embolism in March 2017. Police say 25-year-old Nicole Bruns was driving and her blood-alcohol content level was found to be almost twice the legal limit when she was taken into custody a short time later.
