The Manitowoc County Clerk has made a prediction for local voter turnout ahead of Tuesday’s mid term election. Lois Kiel spoke with Seehafer News earlier today.
Absentee voting has set a new record statewide as Kiel says, municipal clerks have noticed a significant increase in absentee ballot requests.
Today, November 1st is the deadline for electors to request an absentee ballot by mail or online. The County Clerk also says the two school referendum questions in Kiel have attracted a lot of pre-election interest. Lois Kiel reminds those eligible to vote that all polling places on November 6th will open at 7am and, close at 8:00 o’clock that night.
