A Two Rivers native and a 1997 Roncalli High School graduate recently completed an Ultra-Marathon in “much less than ideal” weather conditions. Jeff Siebold ran the Door County Fall Ultra Run, from Gills Rock to Sturgeon Bay on Saturday, October 20th. Jeff finished 15th out of the 63 entrants who completed the 50-mile distance in what he described as the ‘worst’ running conditions he’s ever experienced: VERY windy, snowing and rainy conditions along the route. The Door County event was only Siebold’s 2nd Ultra race. He has done 68 marathons in a number of countries, & he’s told his Dad, Joe Siebold, that his goal is to do 100 in his lifetime. Jeff competed in the Chicago Marathon 3-weeks ago and turned in a time of 3-hours, 17-minutes.
