A routine traffic stop on the North side of Manitowoc early this morning resulted in a drug arrest, with the aid of K9 Neko. A Manitowoc Police Officer was conducting a stationary radar patrol at the intersection of Memorial Drive and East Reed Avenue, when he clocked a vehicle speeding on Memorial drive. The officer pulled the vehicle over, and while talking to the 20 year old driver, smelled marijuana. K9 Neko was utilized to attempt to detect any drugs. Neko detected something, so the officers searched the vehicle, and found over $3,000 on him, and several items of drug paraphernalia, and over 5 grams of marijuana were found inside the vehicle. The man was taken into custody and charged with felony bail jumping, possession of THC with Intent to Deliver, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
