Brown County recently held their drug take back event, and on all accounts it was deemed a success. Over 1,800 pounds of un needed pills were collected for proper disposal, bringing their total amount collected for the year up to over 4,000 lbs. The drug take back events are held to keep the unwanted prescriptions out of the wrong hands, and out of the county waterways. Over 300 more pounds were collected by separate events in Brown and Kewaunee Counties as well.
